I am amazed at how many people believe that the world is really ending within a week. People come up to us all the time and ask us if it's really ending May 21. Now I don't know when everything's ending, but I do know that nobody know except God himself. I am so thankful for a living prophet for our modern times that will lead and guide us. I know that we have absolutely no reason to fear if we are doing the right things.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNOxMgJvCAd82zjFyGJgKuZ-gZtFFZ4HBvNDJHu5K54oH2eOdjpbY6buOQ4K6EtPSNMko_caARByf_C7aWRWExWxeFhPDLCbPA9bNTXdbbCeXFWC9vEHY8P1X86gC1m1kRytw4sTc5xIpb/s1600/DSC03030.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" j8="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNOxMgJvCAd82zjFyGJgKuZ-gZtFFZ4HBvNDJHu5K54oH2eOdjpbY6buOQ4K6EtPSNMko_caARByf_C7aWRWExWxeFhPDLCbPA9bNTXdbbCeXFWC9vEHY8P1X86gC1m1kRytw4sTc5xIpb/s320/DSC03030.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">I personally like how there's a sign for a music festival for June 4th right in front of it.</div>Elder Tanner Andersonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03915804778456452284noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1264947121459442061.post-72668322026399629082011-05-11T08:53:00.000-07:002011-05-11T08:53:38.335-07:00Baptismal service and service project<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Not last Saturday but the one before, we had a service project with our branch. Sad to say, but this picture only show the aftermath, the ice cream and swings, but I really did work. Even worse, my foot was soaked the whole time because I spilled a mop bucket on me before we even got started. Nonetheless, it was a really good experience. Our ward helped clean up a little day camp for handicapped people. Just being able to do some service along side of friends brought a feeling of unity. The served <em>and</em> the server feel uplifted. A prophet has said, "...when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Yo aprendi algo muy poderoso la semana pasado que no voy a olvidar. Este dia, yo estaba un poco triste. Mi trabajo no salia bien.

On this day, things weren't going so well. I was a little down because of it. We decided to go visit a family that we hadn't seen in a while. There are 7 adults and 10 kids that live in this house. There were only two of the adults there, but all of the kids. Right when we walked in, all the kids surrounded us smiling and laughing and wanting to talk to us. I felt like Santa Clause, but they weren't happy about any toys, just that we came. There were like that the whole time we were there. When we left, I couldn't stop smiling myself. I really felt the love that they had for us and I also felt God's love through them. I thought of the Lord's teaching that we need to become as little children. That day I learned why. You don't need to do anything to deserve their love, they just love you, as you are. They can really demonstrate what love really means. They made my day not just bareable, but really enjoyable. </div>Elder Tanner Andersonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03915804778456452284noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1264947121459442061.post-11836858637110745942011-04-08T09:42:00.000-07:002011-04-08T09:42:51.869-07:00Intro... For the most part, I was a normal kid. Then, I decided to be a missionary for my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I wanted to share with others my tesimony of Jesus Christ and how we can find lasting happiness. What I hope to share is the experiences that I have, and the things that I learn from these experiences. This blog may also me called "Leaning Life's Lessons."<br />
